What is wellbeing?
Wellbeing is a state of being at peace and in harmony with different aspects of oneself and with others . These aspects can be understood as : Physical, Mental, Emotional, Intellectual, Spiritual and Functional which, combined together make up one’s whole being.
Indicators of wellbeing include acceptance and gratitude towards life experiences; enthusiasm to engage in all activities; a feeling of social belonging and overall self confidence and independence. This harmonious state is important and can be achieved at home, work, alone as well as with others.
