Srividhya Sridhar is a registered member with Singapore Association of Counseling and is a freelance Counselor.  She has completed her Masters in Counseling and Guidance from National Institute of Education, Singapore and has a Diploma in Child Psychology. She has worked as a counselor trainee with Children, families and adolescents. Currently she works with an online counseling company in India, as a senior counselor. She is also a trainer and coach with Money Tree, Singapore where she facilitates and delivers workshops to the Secondary School children in local Singapore schools on their service learning projects and Financial Literacy Programs.  She has conducted empowerment workshops to more than 5000+ secondary school children in India through an NGO. She has conducted relaxation and meditation workshops for the NIE staff and student teachers.  

Prior to pursuing her counseling degree she is a cost accountant from Institute of Cost and Works Accountant of India and worked for an Insurance company on Oracle projects and budgets in USA. Later she procured a Masters in Information Systems from NJIT.  With her adaptability, cultural dexterity and global experience in different countries like India, USA and Singapore, she is in a position to help others in different roles and transition to different stages in lives.  

As a human being, Srividhya is passionate about helping people. She believes every single person has resources and strengths to live and lead their lives to their highest potential.  She believes just an interaction with a counselor; through the counseling platform itself can be a therapeutic and healing experience.  She helps people understand and accept themselves, their thought patterns, emotions, feelings and trigger points without judging them. She uses different therapeutic models depending on the need of the client and the situation at hand including cognitive behavioral therapy, Choice theory and techniques from the Gestalt approach. Her other interests lies in spirituality, mindfulness, yoga, reading and travelling.
